Run course description
- Flat, a bit boring, cool support when going through the small villages.
- Small descent coming out of Roth and after 5km you hit the canal path.
- Very little shade but 90% flat so can hit a rhythm quite easily.
Run course tips
- Keep cool with sponges.
- If it's a hot day then it will be hot ALL day.
- Whatever you do, don't get pinged for drafting as you'll get an extra kilometre to run.

Tips for supporters get the most out
of watching the event?
- Don't bring small kids, plan logistics well
- You need transport to get tot he start - ideally you'll have bikes to get to the Solar Berg or beer mile but you can walk to the former.
Great places to eat:
- The expo has plenty. Otherwise you can't go too far wrong.
Best bike or tri shop in town:
- In Hilpoltstein
- At the expo. Town shop isn't up to much.
Best pick for accommodation:
- Home stays.
- Hard to find.
Best things for the kids to do:
- Stay home
- Nothing much overly child friendly - visit some castles.
Cool things to do after the race:
- Fireworks at 2300hrs
- Beautiful region to travel around.
- Bamberg is spectacular.
- Drink great beer and eat sausages.
Any warnings that people should know
about before entering:
- Accommodation is hard to find.
