Tips for overseas athletes getting to the venue:
  • It is very easy - flight to Copenhagen and, with the metro, in less than 20 minutes you can be at the registration.
  • The swim and T1 is reachable with the Metro and 10 min from the centre of the city.
  • T2 and the finish line is at the centre of town , next to the parliament building.

  • The swim is in a lake, connected to the sea, very calm and protected waters.
  • For the spectators there are plenty of times they will be able to be right next to the swimmers.

Bike Course description
  • The bike is really flat, good chance for a PB.
  • It might be windy and rainy.
  • The bike is a 2 loop course. Each loop can be divided in 3 parts. First 30km completely flat next to the seaside. Second around 30kms of rolling hills and small roads, and the last 30 km big roads again with a few rolls.
  • The bike finishes at the centre of town.

Bike Course tips
  • Great chance to use a discwheel. 
  • Have to be careful if the weather is a bit rainy, bring good spares, many chances of puncture.

  • The run course goes through the center of the city and next to the waterfront. 
  • You will go through the most tourist spots. The crowds are amazing, there are people in every part of the 10.5km loop.
  • The run is flat and fast.

  • Get ready to a very noisy and crowded marathon.
