Tips for supporters get the most out of watching the event?
  • Use the buses laid on to get to the swim start and back, then get into town near a good bar.

Great places to eat:
  • All places in town are fine, cheap as well.
  • BOST restaurant in town is awesome.

  • There is a bike mechanic service at the expo and T1.

  • Plenty of parks and places to play
  • Restaurants are very family friendly.

  • Good location for a holiday.
  • Bilbao has a lot of good beaches.

Any warnings that people should know about before entering:
  • Learn a little Spanish, it goes a long way.

OVERALL

General tips:
  • You can ride to T1 on registration day to check out the first part.  Nothing really to check past that.

Best thing about this race:
  • The race organisation.

Anything negative about this race:
  • Transfer to Vitoria from Bilboa will need to be sorted if you don’t have a car.
